Agreement Acceptance

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and Doorbusters Lock & Key. By requesting our services, visiting our website, or contacting us for assistance, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

Service Availability and Coverage

  • 24/7 emergency locksmith services available throughout the greater St. Louis area
  • Rapid response time for emergency calls within our service area
  • Services subject to technician availability, weather conditions, and safety considerations
  • Service area covers 40+ mile radius around St. Louis, Missouri and parts of Illinois
  • Some remote locations may require additional travel time and fees
  • Holiday and weekend services available with standard pricing

Pricing, Payment, and Billing

  • Upfront pricing provided before work begins - no hidden fees or surprise charges
  • Payment due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made
  • We accept cash, all major credit cards, and digital payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
  • 10% discount available for new customers (cannot be combined with other offers)
  • Service call fees may apply for cancelled appointments after technician dispatch
  • Additional charges may apply for after-hours, holiday, or emergency services
  • Returned check fee of $35 will be charged for insufficient funds

Proof of Ownership and Security

  • Valid proof of ownership or residency required for all lockout services
  • Acceptable proof includes: driver's license, utility bill, rental agreement, vehicle registration
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if adequate proof cannot be provided
  • For vehicle services, valid registration and identification matching the vehicle owner required
  • Business lockout services require authorized personnel with proper identification
  • We may contact property managers or landlords to verify authorization when necessary

Warranty and Service Guarantee

  • All workmanship guaranteed for 90 days from service completion date
  • Parts and materials carry manufacturer's warranty (typically 1 year)
  • Warranty covers defects in workmanship, not normal wear and tear
  • Emergency lockout services guaranteed - we'll get you back in or no charge
  • Customer satisfaction is our priority - we'll work to resolve any issues
  • Warranty void if locks are tampered with or damaged after our service

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Services may be cancelled without charge if cancelled before technician dispatch
  • Service call fee of $50 may apply if cancelled after technician is en route
  • Emergency services are prioritized and may have different cancellation terms
  • Rescheduling is available with 2+ hours notice when possible
  • Weather-related cancellations will not incur fees

Liability and Insurance

  • Doorbusters Lock & Key is fully licensed, bonded, and insured
  • Liability limited to the cost of services provided
  • Not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or security vulnerabilities
  • Customer assumes responsibility for securing property after service
  • We maintain comprehensive general liability and professional indemnity insurance

Service Limitations

  • Some high-security locks may require special ordering of parts
  • Antique or specialty locks may require additional time and expertise
  • We cannot guarantee access to all lock types without potential damage
  • Safe and vault services may require specialized equipment and scheduling
  • Electronic locks may require manufacturer-specific programming tools

Dispute Resolution
